Replacing light bulbs with LED/low energy & turn OFF when not in use saves £50/yr. Switching OFF all standby saves £30/yr. Wash-up bowl NOT machine saves £25/yr. Shower instead of bath saves £20/yr. Draught-proof doors & windows saves £20/yr. Clothes wash-machine used once less/week saves £5/yr.

Points

Small changes like these would save an average household about £300 per year in cash terms and be saving the planet for future generations as well. A win-win situation!
